BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Chengzhi Wang is a documentary cinematographer, producer, and photographer, writer, and wildlife investigator with over 9 years of experience across Asia. Currently based in Bangkok, Thailand, he holds a Thai journalist visa and a work permit.
As a documentary cinematographer, he worked with BBC, National Geographic, PBS, Sky HISTORY, Netflix, Bloomberg, and the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Currently, he works as an investigator with Freeland and Agent C Wildlife Initiative. In tandem with Agent C, he also produces the wildlife investigative programme FIELD RAW.
His writings were published on 端传媒 The Initium Media.
Via ZUMA Press and SOPA Images, his editorial photos have been published by BBC, Bloomberg, The Guardian, Financial Times, El País, The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, Forbes, and SBS.
In 2023, he was mentored by the Magnum photographer Gueorgui Pinkhassov.
