Patrick Chengzhi Wang is a documentary cinematographer and photographer with 7 years of experience. Currently he lives between Thailand and China.

As a cinematographer, he shoots documentaries featured on PBS, BBC, Sky HISTORY, Bloomberg, Great Big Story, Thomson Reuters Foundation, South China Morning Post, Shanghai Media Group, and so on. His corporate clients include Google, Microsoft, Suzler, the United Nations Human Rights Office, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, Amazon Web Services, NBC Universal, Sulzer, etc.

His editorial photos are published by NGOs like Americares, and on publications like 端传媒 Initium Media, and Anadolu Ajansı. He takes commercial photos for BBC StoryWorks, Banyan Group, and Mandarin Oriental. He is also a contributor to SOPA Images.

He was mentored by Gueorgui Pinkahassov of Magnum Photos in 2023. In 2021, he was trained by the Master Class of the Chinese Society of Cinematographers.​​
